delighted to have you join us in our great scouting advenure.
You undoubtedly arrive with many questions ... about scouting and about Lien
Doan Le Van Duyet . What can you expect? What is expected of you? Each scout can expect: . To grow physically,
mentally and spiritually . To learn leadership and scoutcraft skills . To learn to live in and
enjoy the outdoors . To appreciate his/her vietnamese heritage The troop expects from each
scout: . Regular attendance at all
meetings and events . Honest effort on the
Eagle or Gold Award trails . Active participation in
troop projects . That he/she lives by the
scout oath and law . That he/she speaks the vietnamese language SCOUTING IS FUN! It is
outdoor programs... songs around campfires... canoeing... skiing... rock
climbing... vietnamese scouting tradition...
camping... white water rafting... swimming in a mountain lake... and more...
lots lots more. Lien Doan Le Van Duyet consists of 4 scout units, namely, Boy Scouts of
America Pack 127, Troop 127, Crew 127, and Girl Scouts of America Troop 946. The troop meets on
Saturday, from 10:00am to 12:00pm, at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter
Day Saints, 3060 Patt Ave. (off White Rd) in San
Jose, California 95133.
